A 73-year old man who was killed when a crane tipped over onto his car has been identified.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway 45. The intersection is roughly 15 miles from Fond du Lac. The man’s wife was a passenger in the car at the time of the accident. She was taken by Flight for Life helicopter service to a nearby hospital. She was released the night of the accident.

Wal Mart Recalls Keychains due to Lead

Posted on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 7:04 am

Wal Mart has announced they are voluntarily recalling “Hip Charms” keychains after it was shown that the keychains can contain high levels of lead, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The CPSC announced today that roughly 12,000 units of the keychains will be recalled. This is due to the presence of high levels of lead in the blood of a 9 month old who had previously been seen chewing on the keychain.

The keychains have several charms on them. These include a button, clover, leaf, heart, and sand dollar. They all hang from a silver-colored chain. They were manufactured in China and sold nationwide from April 2005 through April 2008.

Wal Mart is offering a full refund for the keychains.
