Priest Charged with Sexual Assault 30 Years Later

by Administrator 31. August 2009 09:17

A former Catholic priest is charged with sexual assault that allegedly occurred in 1978. The victim, then a 12 year old boy, now 43, only recently came forth with the charges, saying that the priest had asked him to keep the assaults a secret.

The priest took the boy on several trips during which they stayed in motels. While sleeping on those trips, the man says the priest would come in and sexually assault him. The priest has faced similar charges in the past and was forced into a leave of absence in 1989.
