Nearly 169,000 “Antilop” high chairs sold by Ikea throughout the United States and Canada, along with 1.2 million sold in Europe, are being recalled.
Ikea received eight complaints of children falling out of the high chair; three sustained minor injuries. According to the reports, the children fell out when the belt restraint became unlatched.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should stop using it immediately and can take it to any Ikea store for a belt restraint replacement.

Man wins lawsuit against Starbucks Coffee Co.

A San Diego man has been awarded $7.5 million by a San Diego Superior Court jury after suffering an injury at a Starbucks.
In 2008, the man was in a Starbucks walking from the cashier to the pickup counter when he slipped and fell on the floor as a store manager was mopping. He hit his head and sustained injuries that have since prevented him from returning to work as a chiropractor.
The jury decided that Starbucks Coffee Co. was negligent in maintaining its property and responsible for the fall. About $6.5 million will go towards the man’s lost income, medical expenses, and loss of enjoyment of life. $1 million was awarded to his wife for loss of consortium.
