Contaminated beef possibly shipped to 35 states

Posted under Product Liability

Tainted beef products from Rancho Feeding Corp. have been shipped to as many as 35 states.

The USDA has reported that they will regularly update the list of vendors affected by shipments of contaminated meat order to protect consumers from illnesses. USDA spokesperson Adam Tarr said that thousands of companies could have been affected by the distribution of the harmful food.

The recall began in February after USDA inspectors found out that some of the distributed meat may have come from sick or dead cattle.
