Best Friends Necklaces Recalled for Lead Content

Posted under Uncategorized

Following an alert by the Illinois Attorney General about a lead hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of approximately 67,000 Best Friends Yin Yang Necklaces Sets.  The necklace sets are being recalled due to their high levels of lead, exceeding federal standards.  Two set of the Best Friends Yin Yang necklaces are involved and both have a silver-colored metal bead chain and lobster-claw clasp.  The necklaces retailed for about $8 and were sold at Claire’s stores nationwide from April 2007 through August 2008.  These items were manufactured in China. People who have these items are advised to immediately take the recalled necklaces away from their children and return them to any Claire’s store for a full refund.   If you or somone you know has suffered injury or illness due to a defective product, you have a right to seek damages for any losses you incurred.  Contact the Kenosha product liability lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at 866.499.4700 for a free initial consultation.  We will discuss your case and further legal options.
