The Journal Times reports that 2 Racine County residents have fallen ill with salmonella. This marks 28 people who now are confirmed for the infection. The salmonella outbreak is linked to a Kenosha restaurant.
Some of the patrons have decided to sue for damages, including reimbursements for their hospital bills. According to the Journal-Times, "That includes Tanja
Dzinovic, a Pleasant Prairie woman who last week sued the owners of
the Baker Street Restaurant & Pub, 6208 Green Bay Road."
So far, there has been no luck in connecting the foodborne illness outbreak to any particular food. The health department forced the resaurant to close, but it has since reopened.
