Stillborn infant discovered alive in morgue

Posted under Kenosha medical malpractice attorneys

Last week, parents in Argentina were devastated to learn their child was stillborn. But after convincing hospital staff to let them into the morgue’s refrigeration room to see their daughter one last time, the parents heard her cry.

The infant had been in the morgue for nearly 12 hours before her parents were allowed to see her. She was described as feeling as cold as ice. Staff immediately placed her in the neonatal intensive care unit and reports say, although she is in critical condition, she is improving.

The parents intend to file a medical malpractice suit against the hospital. They say they have many unanswered questions regarding how their newborn was handled and the treatment the mother received prior to delivery. Five doctors have been suspended pending an investigation.
