A driver of a sports utility vehicle was hurt after crashing into a parked car, overturning, and finally coming to a stop about 60 feet away from the scene of the collision.
Kenosha Fire Department Battalion Chief Matt Haerter said the accident happened at around 8:55 p.m. near 3500 45th Street last Saturday, May 11. The driver of the westbound SUV hit the Honda that was parked on the street, resulting in him sustaining minor injuries.
While the parked car was unoccupied, firemen did have to use hydraulic equipment to extract the owner’s personal belongings from the car.
The cause of the accident is not entirely known as of yet.
While no one else was injured in this accident, many drivers act recklessly, leading to the undue harm of other innocent parties.
