Child product manufacturer, Evenflo voluntary recalled some of their child safety seat buckles. The buckles were recalled after it was discovered that they can become stuck in the locked position, potentially trapping a child.
According to reports, 1.3 million seat buckles are affected by the recall. There have not been any reports of injury related to the defective products. Despite the fact that no injuries have occurred, Evenflo is strongly suggesting that people who own the defective buckles call their hotline to learn how they can obtain a free replacement kit.
Though no one was reportedly injured by the safety seat buckles, many children are injured annually because of defective products. If you or someone you know has been affected by malfunctioning product, you could be entitled to receive damage compensation.
